1 The Joycycle! Queueing is a favourite British pastime! So we brought instant joy to queues across London in a guerilla style activation. We asked people on our social media channels to let us know where they are stuck in queues and we quickly made our way to them, spreading the joy everywhere as we went.

 

2 An Instagram first! We were selected as one of a small number of brands in the UK to launch the first Instagram ads. We worked closely with Instagram themselves to create sponsored ads that complimented Instagram’s unique style and aesthetic. The creative idea was to make origami wrapper art that interacted with the delicious chocolate in a joyful way.

 

3 A Twitter Powered Snowball fight. Every winter the British public hopes for a White Christmas. So that is exactly what we gave them with the first ever Twitter powered snowball fight, featuring one of Cadbury’s most joyful Christmas products; the Snowbites! Through a collaboration with SoPost, we gave fans the opportunity to turn a virtual snowball thrown at a friend on Twitter, into a sweet Snowbite treat in the post.

 

4 Launch the new Smashable bar. Cadbury designed a bar that needs to be smashed from the back to break and share. We made this unique instruction the focus of our online film, POS and ambient activity
